The Hunger Games Peeta’s Raisin And Nut Bread Recipe
Bread is a recurring symbol in ‘The Hunger Games’, perhaps because Peeta, whose family owns a bakery is an important character. One important scene is when Peeta burns some raisin and nut bread on purpose so he’s allowed to give it to Katniss who he has feelings for.
We’ve already shared a few recipes inspired by The Hunger Games; today we thought we’d place focus on that burnt raisin and nut bread.
You can make some at home to enjoy for breakfast or a side for lunch or dinner while you enjoy re-reading The Hunger Games. Remember not to let it burn though!
