Kaju Barfi Recipe

- 1 cup cashews
- cup ½sugar
- 5 tbsp Water
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 1 tsp chopped rose petals or 8 strands of saffron

Instructions
- Powder the cashews.
- Combine the sugar and water and heat them on a low flame.
- After the sugar has dissolved completely, add the cashew powder to the mixture.
- Continuously stir the mixture for nine minutes, until it begins to thicken completely.
- Once it thickens, remove it from the pan and place it on a plate.
- After the mixture cools slightly, knead in the rose petals or saffron.
- Then, flatten the dough and place it on a sheet of butter paper.
- Put another sheet of butter paper over the dough and then roll out out, using a rolling pin, until it is 3 -5 mm thick.
- Remove the butter paper and allow it to cool completely.
- Them, cut the dough into square or diamond shapes.
- Remove the kaju barfi from the butter paper and serve!
