McDonald’s Australia Has A New Addition To Its Menu, And It Sounds Droolworthy
2016 is drawing to an end, and the folks at McDonald’s outlets worldwide have been coming up with a range of new creations to ensure this year gets a great send off. Be it their waffle fries, bacon-hash brown burgers, the nutella burger or the cheese curds, they have been surprising their patrons with a range of culinary creations that are both innovative and delicious. The latest creation to hit the menu at McDonald’s Australia is the ‘Hash Brown Bites’.
McDonald’s Australia just announced that it is testing some tater tots, just days after Burger King announced its cheesy tater tots. Coincidence? We aren’t sure.
Coincidence or not, we are really excited about these tater tots. Because hash browns! Nothing can get any better. Having killed the breakfasr hash brown game for years, incorporating this classic favourite in their lunch menu seems like a move that should have already been made. Kudos, McDonald’s Australia!
Coming the the tots, they are, basically, McDonald’s hash brown patties from the breakfast menu scaled down to become tater tots. These tater tots come as a a part of a Summer Sides Box, which includes eight hash brown bites, eight Chicken McNuggets, 12 Chicken McBites, and three dripping sauces, including the iconic Big Mac Sauce. Drooling yet? We are!
If the Hash Brown Bites—and the Summer Sides Box which is the only place they can be found—prove successful in Australia during its summer/our winter, we can do nothing but hope they hit our markets during summer too.
