Mushroom and Peas Curry Recipe

Ingredients
- 500 grams mushroom halved
- 200 grams peas frozen
- 100 grams onion chopped
- 100 grams tomato purée
- 2 tsp Ginger paste
- 2 tsp garlic paste
- 25 grams coriander blitzed
- 2 green chilies chopped
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp Cumin powder
- tsp ¼turmeric
- tsp ¼cinnamon powder
- 2 tbsp Oil
- salt to taste
- Water if needed

Instructions
- Set a shallow pan on the stove.
- Turn on the heat to high.
- Pour the oil.
- Reduce the heat.
- Add the ginger and garlic paste.
- Allow three minutes to cook.
- Add onions and sauté for six minutes.
- Add chili, coriander, turmeric, and cinnamon powder.
- Add the tomatoes and chopped chilies.
- Add blitzed coriander and allow slow cooking for 10 minutes with a lid on.
- The oil will glisten over the mush indicating the ingredients are cooked.
- Allow the liquid to dry out for 5 minutes with the dish open.
- Then add the peas and mushroom.
- Close the dish one more time and allow to slow cook for 12 minutes.
- Add moisture if you find it a little dry.
Recipe Notes
This is an easy dish to make. Serve it with rice or flat bread and garnish with coriander and lemon wedges when serving.
