What New Tea Flavors Does Nestea Have In Store For You?
Major global tea brand, Nestea has announced that it is in the process of overhauling its drinks to keep up with changing consumer demands. According to the brand, consumers attitude towards and demands from tea is changing.
Evaluating Consumer Preferences
Nestea interviewed consumers in the US to pinpoint exactly what consumers are looking for when it comes to tea. They found that consumers are looking for easy consumption and drinkability. While one side of consumers are looking for fruit flavors, the others want ‘real tea’ options.
To cater to the demand for easily drinkable tea, Nestea is designing new bottles made from PET with wide mouth openings.
The Flavors
For consumers who want fruit flavored teas it will be launching a fruit flavored line in lemon, peach and raspberry flavors with sugar and stevia. These will be available for $1.49 a bottle.
Meanwhile, to cater to the demand for ‘real tea’, it will launch a real brew line with four flavors; two variants of black tea, rooibos tea and organic green tea.
Nestea is hoping that millennials will be drawn in by the overhaul and new flavors. According to research, millennials are more likely to pay more for premium teas when compared to other age groups.
