    Ingredients
    
                - 1 1/2 cups Rice
 - 70 grams Tamarind
 - 50 ml Sesame oil
 - 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
 - 2 tsp Sesame oil
 
        For the spice powder    
                - 1 tsp fenugreek seeds
 - 1 tsp white sesame seeds
 - 2 tbsp coriander seeds
 - 5 Red chilies
 
        For the seasoning    
                - 1 tsp mustard
 - 4 tsp urad dal
 - 4 tsp channa dal
 - 4 Red chilies cut into halves
 - 1/2 tsp Hing
 - 100 grams roasted peanuts
 - Curry Leaves

    Instructions
    
                - Roast the fenugreek seeds, coriander seeds, red chillies and sesame seeds.
 - Allow the mixture to cool and then powder it.
 - Cook and strain the rice.
 - Soak the tamarind in two cups of hot water.
 - After half an hour, discard the pulp and reserve the water.
 - Heat a little oil and fry all the ingredients in the seasoning list.
 - After a minute or two, pour in the tamarind juice and salt.
 - Allow this gravy to cook until it thickens.
 - Mix the rice with the sesame oil and turmeric powder.
 - Then, mix the spice powder as per taste into the rice.
 - Do the same with the tamarind gravy.
 - Serve the rice!
