Ingredients
- 250 g butter
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 2 cups caster sugar
- 1 1/3 cup Water
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 3 eggs
- 400 g Dark chocolate chopped (for the ganache)
- 1 cup Cream
- 30 g chocolate sprinkles

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 150 degrees celsius. Grease and flour a cake tin.
- Melt butter and chocolate in a saucepan.
- Add sugar and water, stir until sugar completely gets dissolved. Let it cool
- Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and cocoa in a mixing bowl.
- Add the chocolate mixture and fold gently.
- Fold in the eggs and vanilla extract. Pour this mixture into the cake tin and bake for 1 hour
- Let it cool completely and then cut in half.
- Add the chocolate for the ganache and cream to a saucepan and cook over medium heat.
- Blend well until mixture is smooth
- Refrigerate for 20-30 mins till thick.
- Spread a layer of the ganache on the bottom half of the cake. Top the upper half and spread another layer over.
- Top with chocolate sprinkles.
- Refrigerate for 2-3 hours and serve.
