Bhindi Fry Recipe
Bhindi Fry is just one of those easy dishes to make that feel like home. Some would call it comfort food, others would just call it their favourite vegetarian dish of all time. Whatever time of day it may be or whatever the season, bhindi has a way of making everything better again. It goes well with almost anything as well, whether you’re eating it with rice or roti, there’s a combination for everyone.

- 250 g bhindi chopped
- 2 tablespoon Oil
- 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- Handful of curry leaves
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon chilli powder
- 1/2 tablespoon Salt

Method
- Pour oil in the pan and when hot, add in the mustard seeds till they pop
- Once popped, add in curry leaves and mix properly
- Then add the coriander powder and mix again
- Once nicely mixed, add the cumin powder
- Now add in the bhindi, chopped however you prefer and mix it with the spices and cook for a few minutes
- Add the turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt, and mix till everything is nicely coated
- Then let the bhindi cook in the pan, stirring it occasionally
- When it's nicely cooked and fried, you can also add garam masala and aam chur for taste
- And then serve!
