The Cocktail Classics are going to be a new series that takes us back to the basics. We’ll be showing you all the greats of the cocktail world that have become mainstays in the world of mixology. To start us off we’re going to go with a rather underappreciated classic, the Sidecar. Ingredients
- 3/4 ounce Cointreau or any other orange liqueur
- 1 1/2 ounces Cognac
- 3/4 ounce Lemon juice
- ice
- sugar for the rim

Instructions
- Pour all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake well with ice.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass that has had its outside rim rubbed with lemon juice and dipped in sugar. One of the classics, recreated for your enjoyment.
