- 2 cups khoya
- 1/4 cup maida
- 3 tbsp milk powder
- 3 tbsp arrowroot flour
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups Water
- Ghee for frying
- 1 pinch saffron strands

Instructions
- Dissolve the sugar in water and cook for 8 minutes.
- Make a sugar syrup of one thread consistency.
- Turn off the flame and sprinkle saffron.
- Mix together khoya, maida, milk powder and arrowroot flour to form a dough.
- Make 30 balls out of the dough and deep fry in hot ghee.
- Fry the jamuns till dark brown in colour and drain excess oil.
- Put them immediately into warm sugar syrup.
