Ingredients
- cup ½powdered jaggery
- 2 tbsp Pepper Corns
- 2 tbsp coriander seeds
- 1 tsp ajwain bishop’s weed
- 1 tbsp Jeera cumin seeds
- 1 inch ¼piece Sitharathai ginger
- ¼ Saunth powder dry ginger powder
- 1 Cardamom whole
- 2 tbsp gingelly oil
- 1 tsp ghee

Instructions
- Immerse jaggery in water and heat it up until it bubbles and is thick like honey in consistency. Strain to remove impurities.
- Take all the ingredients except dry ginger powder and soak it in water till for 2 hrs. Transfer all the ingredients to a mixer.
- Grind it to a semi fine paste.
- Add dry ginger powder and mix well.
- Now mix this paste and jaggery syrup and heat for 2 minutes until its frothy then mix well.
- Simmer and keep mixing, at one stage it will start becoming thick, for 15 minutes.
- When its thick and has the consistency of halwa, add the oil and keep stirring for 3 minutes and finally add ghee and then switch off.
- Cool down and store in an airtight container.
