- 5 Custard apples
- 100 grams jaggery
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- 1 cup roasted split green gram
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 tbsp Almonds cut in flakes
- 1 tbsp pistachios cut in flakes
- 3 cups Water

Instructions
- Take out the pulp from the custard apples, discarding the seeds and refrigerate.
- Put the roasted green gram along with the water in a pressure cooker on a medium flame.
- Cook till the pressure cooker lets out three whistles.
- Melt the jaggery in a pan and add the cardamom powder.
- Now add the green gram, fruit pulp and mix well.
- Add coconut milk, give it a good stir and bring the mixture to a boil.
- Once you reach the desired consistency, serve the kheer and garnish with almonds and pistachio flakes.
