• 1 tart-shell dough
• 10 ounces mozzarella cheese
• 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil
• 6 sliced tomatoes
• 1/2 tsp Salt
• 1/4 cup black pepper
• 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
• chopped basil for garnish

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line the tart pan with rolled out dough of 1/8 inch in thickness.
2. Sprinkle cheese all over the pastry and then sprinkle the basil.
3. Cover the pastry with tomato slices and sprinkle salt and pepper.
4. Drizzle the tomatoes with olive oil and bake the tart for 20 to 30 minutes till the crust develops a golden colour and the cheese is bubbling.
5. Sprinkle chopped basil and serve.
