Ingredients
For The Pepper and Paneer Balls
- 1/2 cup crumbled low fat paneer / tofu cottage cheese, bean curd/ soya paneer
- 2 tbsp Parsley chopped
- 1/2 tsp mustard powder
- Salt to taste

- 1/2 cup onions chopped
- 3 cups vegetable stock
- 2 tsp Cornflour
- 2 tsp Oil preferably
- Salt to taste

- 1 tsp Parsley chopped

Instructions
For the pepper and paneer balls
- Mix all the ingredients together and knead well.
- Divide the mixture into 20 equal portions and shape them into small round balls.
- Microwave for 20 seconds and keep aside to cool. If you do not have a microwave, steam them in a steamer for a few minutes.
How to proceed
- Heat the oil in a non-stick pan and fry the onions on a low flame for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown in colour.
- Add the vegetable stock, salt and pepper and bring to boil.
- Mix the corn flour in ¼ cup of water and add to the soup. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Just before serving, add the pepper and paneer balls to the soup.
- Serve hot garnished with parsley.
