Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Chopped Carrots
- 1/2 cup chopped beans
- 1/2 cup peas
- 1/2 cup chopped cauliflower
- Salt to taste
- 3 cups Water
- 1 1/2 cups Rice
- 2 tbsp ghee
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 sliced onion
- 6-8 cashews
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 1 Star Anise
- 1 strand mace
- 2 green cardamoms
- 1 black cardamoms
- 2 green chillies
- 4 Cloves
- 5 Whole Pepper
- 1 inch cinnamon
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- 2 green chillies
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 cm Ginger

Instructions
- Tie up all the whole spices together in a muslin cloth.
- Heat ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds, onions, salt and cook till the onions are golden brown in colour.
- Now add cashews, vegetables, water, salt and the muslin spice bag.
- Let the water boil and add the rice giving it a gentle stir.
- Continue to boil for 10 minutes and once the water disappears, lower the flame, cover the pan and cook for a few more minutes.
- Remove the spice bag before serving
