Machhi Amritsari Recipe
Here the fish fillets are coated with a batter made of gram flour, yoghurt, eggs, lemon juice, and deep fried till golden.

Ingredients
- 500 gm of fish fillets
- 2 tbsp of ginger garlic paste
- 1 tbsp of chilli powder
- 20 ml Lemon juice
- .5 gm of ajwain
- 200 gm of Gram Flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of yoghurt
- salt to taste
- Oil for deep frying

Instructions
- Clean the fish fillets well.
- Mix the fish with salt, lime juice, ginger garlic paste and chilli powder.
- Mix gram flour, yoghurt, eggs, ajwain and salt with water to make a lump free batter.
- Marinate the fish in the batter for 10 minutes.
- In a pan, heat the oil and deep fry the fish until lightly brown and crisp.
- Garnish it with lemon wedges and serve hot.
