Makar Sankranti Tilgul Recipe
Makar Sankranti is a festival that celebrates harvest season in the Konkan belt of India and in Maharashtra, it is celebrated with flying kites and of course tilgul. The ladoos made with sesame seeds and jaggery are unmissable during this time and there is a saying, “Tilgul Ghya God God Bola” which means eat sweets and bring sweetness to your speech. On that note, let’s make some tilgul!

- 2 cups roasted sesame seeds
- 1 cup roasted peanuts
- 2 cups jaggery

Instructions
- Grate the jaggery and grind the peanuts and sesame seeds separately into a powder.
- Mix all three ingredients together and give the mixture another blitz in the mixer.
- Make laddoos out of the mixture and coat in sesame seeds once done.
