Ingredients
For the Rub
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp dark chili powder
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp oiniojn powder
- 1 tbsp ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1.2 tsp cayenne pepper
For the sandwiches
- 4 pounds pork shoulder roast
- 6 whole –3 garlic cloves
- 3 tbsp bBQ rub
- 2 red onions thinly sliced
- 16 ounces barbeque sauce

Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients for the rub together.
- Rub three tablespoons of the rub all over the pork roast and stuff with the cloves.
- Place in a slow cooker, top with the onions and 2 cups of water.
- Slow cook for 10 hours.
- Remove the pork and shred it.
- Heat the meat n the remaining barbeque sauce and spread over bread.
- Fold to create a sandwich.
