Instructions
  1. Clean and dice the ash gourd into big cubes.
  2. Add these to a vessel with 1.5 cups of water
  3. Add turmeric powder and salt and boil them until cooked.
  4. In a blender, add coconut and green chillies and some curd. Blend until it is paste.
  5. Now add this to the ashgourd.
  6. Stir very well.
  7. Take the sour curd in a bowl and whisk well.
  8. Add to the mixture.
  9. Let it be simmer until the froth comes off. Make sure the flame is on low.
  10. In a pan, add some oil.
  11. Once the oil is heated, add mustard seeds, red chilies and methi seeds. Add to the mixture. Mix well and serve.
