Navaratri might give you limited options while fasting but widens your scope for experimenting with the food. We tried making sweet potato and taro in a different manner and it turned out crispy and delicious.

- 1 large sweet potato
- 3 medium taro roots
- 1 chopped green chilli
- 1 tsp rock salt
- 1 tbsp ghee

Instructions
- Boil sweet potato and taro root then set aside for cooling.
- Peel the vegetables and cut slices with the thickness you prefer.
- Add rock salt and chopped green chilli and mix using your hands.
- Heat ghee in a non-stick pan.
- Shallow fry the chips in batches, cooking on both sides.
- Once you see a brown crust on both sides, drain them on a kitchen towel and serve immediately.
