Pan Fried Chicken Recipe
Fried chicken is an incredibly popular dish all over the world. Each country has its own unique take on it; this Indian fried chicken is marinated in a variety of Indian spices and pastes and then shallow fried in hot oil.
Serve this chicken as an appetiser with chutney or as a main dish with rice and rassam or naans.

Ingredients
- 1 Chicken cut into pieces
- 1 tbsp onion paste
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- salt to taste
- ground black pepper
- 150 ml chicken stock
- 50 ml Oil
- 1 onion diced
- 4 Cloves
- 4 green cardamoms
- 1 inch stick cinnamon

Instructions
- Marinade the chicken with a combination of the onion paste, garlic paste, salt, pepper and stock for an hour or so.
- Heat the oil and sauté the whole spices for a minute.
- Add the chicken, piece by piece and cover the pan.
- Allow the chicken to cook, flipping occasionally until it’s done through.
- Take out of the pan, garnish with coriander leaves and serve!
