Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Basmati rice
- 1/2 cup Mint leaves
- 1/2 cup coriander leaves chopped
- 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp Ginger finely chopped
- 2 tbsp Fresh grated coconut
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 green chili finely chopped/
- 1 medium onion finely chopped
- ghee

- 1 green cardamom
- 2 Cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/2 piece Bay Leaf

Instructions
- Wash and cover the rice with water.
- Soak the rice for 15 minutes and then boil it over a medium flame.
- Once the rice is cooked, drain and allow it to cool.
- Grind the mint leaves, coriander leaves, lemon juice, ginger, garlic and coconut together until a smooth paste forms,
- Sauté the whole spices in a little ghee until they become aromatic.
- Add the green chillies and onions and sauté for a few minutes.
- Stir in the mint paste and toss for two minutes.
- Stir in the rice and mix well.
- Toss for two minutes and take off the stove.
- Serve.
