Red Pepper Hummus Recipe (Hindi)

A popular dip from the Mediterranean, hummus is the life and soul of every Mezze platter or pita platter. The Egyptian native is made from cooked mashed chickpeas – and occasionally using other varieties of beans – blended with lime juice, olive oil, garlic, and tahini. A healthy dip to snack on with baked pita bread or chips; hummus can also be tweaked in a number of ways. One variant, for example, is the red pepper hummus.

This spicier version of the classic bland dip is a great recipe for the spice-loving folk. You can throw in roasted red pepper flakes or even fresh mashed whole red peppers depending on the flavor you want. Follow this recipe to make a delicious red pepper hummus with crushed red pepper.

Instructions
  1. एक मिक्सी में लेहसुन, नमक, काबुली चना, लाल शिमला मिर्च, ताहीनी, पानी, ४ बड़ा चम्मच नींबू का रस, २ बड़ा चम्मच जैतून का तेल, जीरा, और लाल मिर्च डाल कर एक महीन पेस्ट बना लें। चख कर अधिक नमक और नींबू डालें। हमस तैयार है।
  2. अब एक चौड़ा और उथला कटोरा लेकर उसमें हमस डालें और एक चम्मच से हमस के बीचो बीच एक छोटा सा गड्ढा बनाकर उसमें बचा हुआ जैतून का तेल और पैप्रिका डालें।
  3. पीता चिप्स के साथ परोसें।
