Spaghetti Day – Spaghetti Aglio E Olio Recipe
Let’s whip up a quick and easy spaghetti, after all 5th January is Spaghetti Day and we simply can’t have enough of it!

Ingredients
- 1 pound uncooked spaghetti
- 6 cloves thinly sliced garlic
- 1/2 cup Oil
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- pepper to taste
- 1 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
- Bring about a litre of salted water to boil and cook the spaghetti in it about 12 minutes or till al dente.
- Drain the spaghetti and keep aside.
- Heat up oil in a skillet and add garlic to it.
- Toast the garlic on a medium heat and cook slowly till golden brown, infusing the garlic flavour into the oil.
- Remove the skillet from heat once done.
- Arrange the spaghetti on a serving plate and sprinkle red pepper flakes, black pepper, and salt on top of it.
- Now pour the olive oil and garlic mix and sprinkle the parsley and half the parmesan cheese.
- Toss up all the ingredients till well combined and then sprinkle the remaining parmesan on top of it and serve.
