Suits Onion Bagel Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 cups warm water
- 1/4 ounce yeast
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 1/2 cup dehydrated chopped onion
- 5 cups flour
- cornmeal
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tbsp Water

Instructions
- Put yeast in the warm water along with sugar.
- Once it begins to froth up add salt and onion.
- Mix it up and then little by little mix the flour.
- Now beat the mixture till a rough dough forms.
- Take this dough on a work surface sprinkled with flour and knead the dough with your hands till smooth.
- Grease the dough and keep it covered in a greased bowl for 45 minutes till it is twice in size.
- Now divide the dough into equal portions and give them each a bagel shape.
- Sprinkle flour on a plate and put the bagels on it.
- Cover it and let it rest for 20 minutes.
- Bring the water along with a spoonful of sugar to a boil.
- Meanwhile let the oven preheat at 400 degrees.
- Boil each bagel for about five minutes each.
- Drain them immediately.
- Now put the boiled bagels on a baking sheet.
- Brush egg yolk mixed with a spoonful of water onto the bagels.
- Bake them for about 40 minutes or till brown in colour.
- Cool them before eating.
