Thai Beef Pitas

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef*
- 2 red bell peppers seeded and sliced
- 2 tbsp Ginger minced
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1/2 cup Cilantro
- 3 tbsp peanut butter
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- 1 lime juiced
- 2 green onions thinly sliced
- 4 pita pockets
- 1 romaine lettuce leaf shredded

Instructions
- Sauté the beef in a pan over medium heat for five minutes until it browns.
- Add the peppers, the garlic and ginger and the pepper flakes.
- Sauté for a minute.
- Whisk the peanut butter, cilantro, soy sauce, lime juice and sesame oil together.
- Add the mixture to the beef and sauté on a low flame for half a minute.
- Remove the beef from the stove.
- Cut the pitas into halves, slit them and line them with the lettuce.
- Fill each pita with the beef, garnish with the green onions and serve.
