Thai Coconut Rice

Ingredients
- 1 cup long grain rice
- 1 can coconut milk
- 1/4 cup Water
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/8 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Ginger finely chopped
- Sliced almonds for garnish

Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients aside from the sliced almonds together in a large pan.
- Cook this mixture on high heat, stirring constantly.
- Allow the mixture to boil and then reduce the flame to low.
- Cover this pan and cook the rice for 15 to 18 minutes.
- Remove the cover, fluff the rice with a fork and then cover the pan again.
- Allow the rice to sit for five minutes.
- Garnish with the sliced almonds and serve.
