Relish Sumptuous Food At The Newly Opened Loco Loca In Mumbai

An al fresco setting, walls covered with lovely greens and furniture with vivid, cheery colours, Loco Loca is one of those places with feel food vibes, cut off from the hullabaloo of the city, giving you a relaxed dining experience. So come down, forget the work woes and sink into a lovely evening with delish food.

On A Healthy Note

We started off our meal at Loco Loca with a couple of salads along with some Avocado & Feta Toast. The first salad was Feta & Co, a classic combination of watermelon and feta cheese which was enhanced by addition of some greens, chunks of orange and avocado. A wholesome salad with lip smacking ingredients that all worked together beautifully. The Confit Chicken & Brun Pao Salad was also delish with well cooked, juicy chicken along with roast potatoes, sundried tomato, olives and water chestnut. The avocado toast too was tasty and we enjoyed the healthy fare on the menu.

Bring On The Food

For appetizers we binged on the Bombay Bravas and Harissa Prawn Skewers while for mains we settled for a lovely Chicken Overload Pizza. The bravas were lip-smacking delicious and is a dish you mustn’t miss here at Loco Loca. The roast potatoes, misal glaze and the garlic aioli were simply on point and oh so good. The prawn skewers too were sumptuous where not just the seafood but also the side of quinoa and beetroot labneh were the stars of the dish. Again, a must try.

Mains And Dessert

As for the pizza it was truly a chicken overload and we loved every bit of it. Every inch of the pizza was covered in chicken chunks which was absolutely amazing to see and was a true meat-lover’s delight! For dessert, we admit we had to smoke up. And why not when the cigar comes with a chocolate cover, is filled with a whiskey mousse and leaves behind a white chocolate ash. If all desserts are like these, we’re ready to be chain smokers.

So in a gist, our experience at Loco Loca was an absolutely amazing one and we recommend you do try it out. Do not miss out on their chicken overload pizza, prawn skewers, Bombay bravas and of course the epic dessert – Whiskey and Smoke.
