A Restaurant In Australia Has Released a Special Rainbow Burger to Honour Gene Wilder
The rainbow burger isn’t really a new trend, it’s following the long tradition that this year has brought with all the rainbow food that’s being created around the world. But this rainbow burger comes with a special treat.
Gene Wilder, best known for his role as Willy Wonka in the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, passed away suddenly last week. And the tributes have been pouring in. Bar Luca in Sydney, Australia introduced the Beauregard Burger this week and it has a beef patty, tomato soup jelly, fried potatoes, popping cheese, blueberry onion jam and what they call “wonka sauce” all nestled between a rainbow milk bun.
And there’s more to this burger than just the trippy rainbow effect. Each day, a lucky customer will find a golden ticket in their burger that entitles them to a mystery prize. It’s a one of a kind treat that you can only find in Australia. Obviously.
