Black Bean Burgers With Cilantro Lime Sauce
A burger that is as drool-worthy as a hamburger, but without any meat in it!
Instructions
For the black bean patty
  1. Preheat oven to 375
  2. Heat pan on stove medium high with the oil. I use a cast iron pan so that I can transfer straight to the oven.
  3. Reserve ¾ cup beans.
  4. Place all other ingredients in the food processor and pulse until combined but still slightly chunky.
  5. Stir in remaining beans.
  6. Form patties. (Approximately 8)
  7. Fry in oil for a few minutes on each side until browned and crispy.
  8. Place in oven and bake for 25 minutes.
For the cilantro lime sauce
  1. Mix all ingredients. Put in as much lime zest as you can get!
  2. Refrigerate for a few hours to enhance flavors.
And now, the burger
  1. But a burger bun in half
  2. Add your vegetables. Goes great with tomato, avocado, onion, lettuce, and cucumber.
  3. Lay the patty on top.
  4. Drizzle sauce all over the patty - be generous!
  5. Close with other half of the bun.
  6. Enjoy!
