For Her 100th Birthday, This Woman Received Free McDonald’s For Life
One in a while, a major company does something that completely warms your heart. Recently, for instance, a McDonald’s in Hanover, Pennsylvania threw one of their most regular customers a surprise birthday party for her 100th birthday and then gave her the gift of free meals for life.
Meet Nadine Baum
Each day for the past six years, Nadine Baum had been eating lunch at her local McDonald’s with her son.
This year, the staff at the Baltimore Street restaurant decorated her usual table with balloons, flowers and a birthday cake. “I don’t know what I did to deserve all this,” Baum said commenting on the celebration. “I count my blessings every day.”
“We had cake, flowers, balloons and we just sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to her and let her eat lunch,” McDonald’s employee Sandy Arentz, 52, told ABC News today. “She’s very pleasant. She’s talkative and friendly to everybody. We celebrated this milestone to show her how special she is.”
After receiving the certificate for free McDonald’s, Baum said she would try to make it as often as possible to the outlet.
