The theme of the restaurant is the one thing that hits you right away at The Black Pearl. The name should give you a clue as to what exactly the restaurant is going for, pirates of course. The interesting decor is complimented by the brilliant buffet that they serve. From Indian to Chinese, Biryanis to Noodles, it’s all there at this dimly lit restaurant perfect for guilt-less eating.

 The 13th floor restaurant, Ebony, gives you the perfect opportunity to enjoy a grand buffet with the sights to match it. The lunch buffet at Ebony makes for a brilliant treat for the family with its assortment of Indian, Chinese and Thai dishes. The elaborate spread features some of the best food we’ve had in Bengaluru. Buffet at Ebony is a treat for the eyes and the stomach.

Ginger Tiger is famous for their lunch buffet serving up authentic Chinese cuisine at a fraction of the cost. The buffet features unlimited food and live grills and a dim sum counter. Although the vegetarian dishes are slightly on the lesser side, the non-veggies can fill their stomach with some delectable food.

The Buff Buffet Buff is aptly named for the buffet spread at BluPetal hotel. The buffet has an assortment of dishes with an unbelievable amount of dishes served as part of it. With a choice of over 10 starters, both veg and non-veg, and 10 varieties of main course dishes, our taste buds are spoiled with flavour, in a good way. 

Our favourite: Prawn in Chilli Black Bean Sauce

Barbeque Nation is famous for their elaborate and truly unlimited buffet. If you happen to visit Barbeque Nation for a lunch buffet on a weekday, just make sure to call in sick for the rest of day. After you devour their varieties of starters, you will probably pass out in the middle of main course. 

Our favourite: Prawn Skewers

Soho St. is a must visit for us just for their keema pav. We love pav bhaji and we’ve always wondered how a non-veg variety of the same will taste. Wonder no more because Soho St. gives you the opportunity to get your hands on the absolutely incredible dish called the keema pav as part of their buffet.  

Our favourite: Keema Pav

The buffet at Kebab Room offers a wide variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes cooked in a traditional Mughlai and North Indian style. The non-veg starters, especially, is a good accompaniment to a cold beer.

There is a significant competition happening between all the “grill” restaurants for the coveted lunch buffet champion and our choice of the winner will definitely go to Grill Square. The different varieties of grilled dishes available here along with a very unique taste of each dish puts it over the top for us.

Hunan serves up a traditional Chinese buffet filled with flavourful starters and main course which suits both the vegetarians and the non-vegetarians. The seafood dishes, especially, gives a swift kick to the taste buds.

We save the best for last. Bakasur’s extensive buffet features local dishes from all around the country. Their dessert items are sinfully delightful and the chaat items on the buffet menu takes you back onto the streets. Its a beautiful spread with dishes to fill every craving you could possibly have.
