Smothered Chicken Recipe
Sometimes chicken needs a something extra to bring out its juicy flavours. What we have in this recipe is the addition of few ingredients which combines with the delicious sauce to bring out the best out of the chicken. To put it in simpler terms, the chicken gets smothered with love and attention and the delicious cream based sauce helps in giving the traditional chicken noodle dish an extra kick in the pants.

Ingredients
- 300 grams of package noodles
- 1 tsp of paprika
- 1 tsp of dried thyme leaves
- 1/2 tsp of Salt
- 1/4 tsp of Pepper
- 3 tbsp of butter
- 1 large onion chopped
- 300 grams of mushrooms sliced
- 2 tsp of minced garlic
- 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
- 1 1/3 cup of milk
- 500 grams of grilled chicken chopped
- 2 tbsp of chopped fresh parsley

Instructions
- Cook the noodles according to the directions on the package. Keep the noodles warm.
- Add paprika, dried thyme, salt and pepper to a small bowl and mix well
- Add butter to a large pan over medium heat
- Add the onions and mushrooms and saute them for around 8-10 minutes or until they become tender
- Add the garlic and paprika mixture to the onions and saute will for 2 minutes
- Add the cream of mushroom soup and milk and bring to a boil
- Add the chicken pieces to the mixture
- Cover the pan and cook on low heat for 10 minutes or until the chicken is well heated up
- Add the parsley to the sauce
- For serving, pour this chicken sauce over the noodles and serve hot
