Health Food Delivery Startup Kristys Kitchen Has Been Acquired By CureFit
Bengaluru-based Kristys Kitchen has been acquired by healthcare and fitness startup, CureFit for an undisclosed amount in a cash and stock deal.CureFit for an undisclosed amount in a cash and stock deal.
Kristys Kitchen was started in 2016 by Cristina Maiorescu, Cedric Carvalho, and Sumit Sinha as a health-food delivery startup based out of the Karnataka capital. The startup provides customers with delicious healthy food, prepared by 5-star chefs and delivered straight to your home in the city. Their mission, as they’ve mentioned on their website, is to set a new benchmark in the food delivery market in India.
“Our food quality and experience is up to the highest international standards. We craft exquisite recipes in collaboration with foreign chefs to match true authentic flavors. Our strong eco-conscious responsibility led us to design and adopt zero plastic eco-friendly packaging. We took the pledge to act with transparency and genuine care for all our customers,” they added on their website.
Following the acquisition, Cristina, Cedric and the entire team will also join the CureFit’s team. Speaking about this transaction, Cristina Maiorescu, founder of Kristys Kitchen, said, “We believe we have developed a great product that now will be taken to scale with the help of CureFit. Both companies’ values and long-term vision are in sync.”
