Baileys Has Rereleased Their Almande Liqueur With A Purely Vegan Formula

on

In May of last year, Baileys announced that their latest release of the infamous Irish Cream liqueur was perfect for vegans because it was made with almond milk. Vegans everywhere definitely celebrated because the problems that had been stopping them from enjoying Baileys infused cocktails were vast. And while vegans had found ways to make Irish Cream that was perfect for them, it wasn’t the same thing. Baileys even got lots of feedback from vegan customers, celebrating them for this innovation.

Alas, the dairy-free version that was being touted as a vegan Irish Cream was actually not so vegan after all. And this is because the formula contained beeswax. Baileys quickly admitted the fault and the company went out of its way to let customers know that they were working on making the formula purely vegan. And while some might not believe that the brand actually cares, Baileys did go totally out of their way to make it happen.

Baileys relaunched the Baileys Almande liqueur, this time with a “certified vegan label”.

So for readers who were not totally believing that Baileys had made vegan Irish Cream liqueur possible, here’s your proof. And the fact that Baileys went out of their way to properly solve the problem of their vegan liqueur. It just goes to prove that brands do listen to what customers have to say and will make sure that they provide them with the solution that they are looking for.

“We are excited to welcome spring with Baileys Almande, which offers the same quality and delicious flavor that people love about Baileys, but now in a dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegan option that we know many are thrilled to enjoy,” Alex Tomlin, SVP of Scotch Whisky and Reserve Brands at Diageo North America said.

Baileys Almande Liqueur is now available in stores in America, so if you’re vegan and you’re craving a little Baileys in your life, you can now properly enjoy it.
