Check Out This Hilarious Tumblr Account Devoted To Featuring Cakes In Bollywood Films

Tumblr is a strange and exciting location in the world of the internet. Many users take to Tumblr to record obsessions with film stars, quotes, kittens or – if you’re a big fan of cakes and an even bigger fan of Bollywood – cakes featured in Bollywood movies.

We’re totally serious. Aditi Sen, a Tumblr user has devoted her entire account tooreluctantacademic to a page entitled Kaho Na Cake Hai which curates the best scenes from Bollywood that involve a cake. ‘If you can’t eat your mehnat ki roti, then eat cake. To quote Dilip Kumar from Ram Aur Shyam “Cake khaao Gajanan,”’ she comments in her short Tumblr description. 

She started the account in November 2015 with screenshots of the cake from Ek Ladka Ek Ladki.

That was then followed up by screen grabs from 18 films in December; here are some of our favourites, along with Sen’s fun captions –
