Fall Is Here And Pumpkin Spiced Treats Have Taken Over Stores
Instead of looking at dates and the color of the leaves, many Americans choose to decide whether Fall has arrived by checking whether their favourite pumpkin flavoured treats have become available at the stores. At the start of Fall, major chains like Starbucks, Dunkin’ Donuts and even McDonald’s include limited edition pumpkin infused treats on their menu. Here’s what this year has to offer:
Pumpkin Spice Latte
The Pumpkin Spice Latte, or the PSL as it’s fondly known, is the original pumpkin infused treat. It was launched in 2003 and today has a cult following across the US.
Pumpkin Spice Latte at McDonald’s
McDonald’s McCafe is also serving a pumpkin spice latte at locations across the US. The drink blends espresso made from 100% Arabica coffee beans, steamed milk, cinnamon and pumpkin pie.
Dunkin’ Donuts Line Up
Dunkin’ Donuts recently released a whole line-up of pumpkin spice products; there’s the pumpkin spice glazed donuts, pumpkin spice munchkins, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin K Cup pods and ground pumpkin coffee.
Kellogg’s Cereal Cafe
Kellogg’s launched its cereal cafe in New York a few months ago and, in the spirit of fall, recently added Frosted Mini-Wheats Pumpkin Spice to their menu as well as to grocery stores. The new cereal is a combination of wheat, sweet frosting, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and ginger.
