Gordon Ramsay Is Launching A New Kitchen Makeover Show This June
Hold your hats, reality television lovers for Gordon Ramsay is back this summer with an all-new kitchen makeover series in collaboration with Fox TV. Christened 24 Hours To Hell & Back, the new show will feature restaurants and businesses that will be transformed completely by the Hell’s Kitchen host. The concept sounds oddly familiar though, doesn’t it? Here’s why.
Ramsay’s new show has more in common with one of his previous projects than just the usage of “hell” in the name. 24 Hours To Hell & Back will follow a format similar to the celebrity chef and restaurateur’s previous shows Hotel Hell and Kitchen Nightmares, which also featured crumbling businesses that were helped by Ramsay. So is this merely a reboot with a different name? No. As the name suggests, each episode of the new unscripted series will have Ramsay transforming the restaurant in just 24 hours. Wow, Gordon Ramsay plus a bad restaurant plus a time limit, that ought to be worth watching!
Fox Broadcasting Company’s president of alternative entertainment and specials, Rob Wade, wrote, “Watching [Ramsay] try to save these businesses, not to mention restore the livelihoods of hardworking men and women, really puts the pressure on – and doing this as the clock ticks, challenges him like never before.”
Fox TV announced earlier this week that the premiere of the show is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, June 13. So, keep your popcorn and sodas ready, folks!
