Kerala Style Chicken Curry Recipe

Ingredients
- 750 grams Chicken cut into 1pieces on the bone
- 2 medium onions
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 5-7 Cloves
- 1 inch cinnamon
- 10-12 leaves Curry
- 1 tablespoon Ginger finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon garlic finely chopped
- 2 medium tomatoes finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon coriander powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup coconut milk

Instructions
- Roughly chop onions.
- Heat coconut oil in a non-stick pan, add onions, cloves, cinnamon, curry leaves, ginger and garlic and sauté for 2 minutes.
- Add tomatoes and sauté further for 3-4 minutes.
- Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and pepper powder and mix well. Add chicken pieces and salt and mix well.
- Add 1 cup water and mix well. Cover and cook on medium heat till the chicken is almost done.
- Add coconut milk and mix well. Cook on low heat till the chicken is done.
- Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot.
