May The Force Be With These Star Wars Themed Cereals

The Star Wars is all set to ‘Awaken The Force’ on December 18th 2015. After a late May release of the movie’s trailer, fans have been waiting with bated breath for the actual thing. And General Mills came up with the idea of making the wait a bit more exciting. The retail magnate has come up with limited edition Star Wars themed cereals. Excited we are!

 

Decked Up

The cereal aisle will see four new boxes decked up in complete Star Wars garb – Honey Nut Cheerios, Trix, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Reese’s Puffs.

The collectible boxes feature BuzzBee clad in Darth Vader’s attire, the Trix Rabbit posing in two side buns and a white robe – no prizes for guessing the inspiration! Whereas, the Reese’s Puffs box showcases the Millenium Falcon maneuvering its way through a puff (read, asteroid) shower and the cinnamon squares are flying around in a crazy frenzy as TIE fighters on the Cinnamon Toast Crunch box.Star-Wars-Droid-Viewers-all-700x239

General Mills definitely has a bunch of Star Wars fans in its team because the collectibles list goes on. Apart from the customized boxes and cereals, the cartons will also contain one collectible Droid Viewers.
