Converting an idea or a thought to action requires a lot of passion, and as a result of undying passion and hardwork My Tea House was born. The idea was conceptualized by Dr. Anil Rawat, who while living in Japan came to appreciate the finer nuances of tea. His passion for tea only begins with relishing a pour of steaming hot tea. This passion has driven him to explore the place of tea in cultures around the world. 

Over his travels, he realised that being one of the largest tea producers in the world India does not have too many traditions in place to enjoy the real experience of tea, apart from the standard masala chai and sulemani chai at your local tea stand! And thus, the thought of establishing a Tea House was born. Apart from just serving tea to customers, My Tea House strives to provide its patrons with an unforgettable tea experience. 

Quaint, Cozy And Good Vibes

Walking into My Tea House gave us a different feeling. We felt calm, and relaxed. The ambience of the outdoor space, as well as the indoor space makes one forget the hustle and buslte of the busy road just below the balcony. Instead, you enter a world that is serene, calm and fan-tea-stic!

My Tea House serves all the world’s teas under one roof – from Chinese Green Tea and darjeeling green tea, to herbal, medicinal, and fruit infused teas. Instead of trying the classics such as kulhar chai, masala chai or iced tea, Mr Shashank Rawat introduced us to a world of teas we were unfamiliar with, and boy were we surprised.

Each tea has a different flavour and offers you a relaxing, and unique experience. Whether it’s the geranium infused Tea all the way from Malaysia, or the Darjeeling tea from closer to home, each pour increased our appreciation for tea one notch more. For me, the star of the day was the tea infused with white chrysanthemum – it was fresh, flavorsome, and reminded me of the fresh smell of rain hitting the ground.
