Fish Fry Recipe

Everyone has a favourite way to fry fish, but it’s nice to break out of our boxes once in a while! This Andhra fish fry recipe requires only a handful of ingredients and fresh fish of your choice. The ingredients work well with various types of fish; both freshwater and fish from the sea.

Serve the fish fry as a starter or along with some rice and dal as a main course.

Instructions
  1. Rinse the fish and pat it dry with paper towels.
  2. Mix the turmeric, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, garam masala powder and chili powder together.
  3. Coat the fish with this mixture, and allow it to sit for half an hour.
  4. Fry the fish in hot oil, flipping after three minutes.
  5. Place the fish on paper towels to seep out excess oil.
  6. Sprinkle a little lime juice over the fish and serve immediately!
