- 1 tin preserved cherries
- 1 tin preserved pineapples
- 1 packet instant cake mix vanilla or a white cake mix works best
- 1 ½ sticks butter

Instructions
- Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Grease a medium sized pan or over-proof dish and keep ready.
- Empty the contents of the cherry tin in the dish and spread it evenly.
- Now empty the contents of the pineapple tin into the dish and spread it evenly.
- Spread the dry instant cake mix over the fruit mixture.
- Crumble the leftover butter on top of the cake mix.
- Shake/tap the dish a little so the mixture sets evenly in the dish.
- Bake until the top is crumbly and bubbly for about 45 minutes to one hour.
- Serve hot with a scoop of ice cream on top.
