Julie and Julia Chicken Breasts With A Mushroom Cream Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 pinch white pepper
- 5 tbsp butter
- 1/4 pounds white button mushrooms sliced
- 2 tbp Shallots diced
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- 1/4 cup chicken stock
- 1/4 cup dry vermouth
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Instructions
- Rub the chicken breasts with the lemon juice and season with the salt and pepper.
- Heat the butter and saute the onion and mushrooms for two minutes.
- Add the salt.
- Place the chicken breasts in the mixture.
- Cook over medium high heat for 10 minutes.
- Flip and cook the opposite side for 10 minutes.
- Remove the chicken and pour in the chicken stock and vermouth to the pan.
- Cook over medium high heat and boil until the liquid is syrupy.
- Add the cream and cook over medium high heat.
- Add the salt and pepper and pour the sauce over the chicken.
- Serve.
