KFC Style Popcorn Chicken Recipe
While KFC is best known for its Hot and Crispy chicken, its other chicken dishes are pretty stellar as well. We have a particular weakness for their Pop Corn Chicken – when you’re craving some chicken but don’t want a heavy meal they make a perfect snack.
KFC’s Popcorn Chicken
The popcorn chicken or popcorn nuggets are covered with a crunchy, crispy batter which gives the chicken a hint of spice.

While you can’t make the exact popcorn chicken that they serve at KFC at home, you can make something pretty similar. Have the chicken as a snack or as an appetiser for lunch or dinner.

    Ingredients
    
                - 100 grams boneless skinless chicken breast
 - 2 tsp all purpose flour
 - 1/2 tsp powdered sugar
 - 1/4 tsp Salt
 - 1/8 tsp onion powder
 - 2 egg whites
 - 2 tbps milk
 - 3/4 cup panko bread crumbs
 
        To mix into the flour    
                - 1 tsp Ground Oregano
 - 1 tsp chili powder
 - 1 tsp dried sage
 - 1 tsp dried basil
 - 1 tsp dried marjoram
 - 1 tsp pepper
 - 2 tsp Salt
 - 2 tbsp paprika
 - 1 tsp onion salt
 - 1 tsp garlic powder

        To mix into the flour

    Instructions
    
                - Combine all the ingredients to mix into the flour.
 - Sift all these ingredients into the flour.
 - Preheat an oven to 475 degree Fahrenheit.
 - Cut the chicken breasts into small chunks.
 - Whisk together the flour, sugar, onion powder, salt, sugar and pepper.
 - Whisk the egg white and milk together.
 - Dip the chicken pieces into the flour and dip into the egg white milk mixture.
 - Coat with the bread crumbs.
 - Dip into the egg milk mixture and coat with breadcrumbs again.
 - Coat a baking sheet with olive oil.
 - Spread the coated chicken pieces on the baking sheet and bake for five minutes.
 - Flip and bake for another minute or two.
 - Take out of the oven and allow to cool.
 - Serve and enjoy.
