Mildred Pierce Chicken and Waffles Recipe
We’ve already shared a recipe for a lemon pie inspired by Mildred Pierce, a TV show based on a novel by James McCain and staring Kate Winslet.
The show follows Mildred Pierce’s journey to become a restaurateur as well as her difficult personal life which is constantly in turmoil thanks to her ex-husband, her love interest and her daughter.
Today, we’re day dreaming about Mildred’s chicken and waffles; a combination which was responsible for the success of her restaurant. Why not try whipping up a serving of chicken and waffles yourself? Have this for lunch or a light dinner.
