Instructions
  1. Cut tomatoes in wedges
  2. Remove the seeds
  3. Oven dry @ 180 C till they dry
For the tomato sauce
  1. In a pan, heat some oil, add chopped garlic, onion and sauté till translucent
  2. Add salt and 1 cup preserved tomato puree
  3. Season sauce with black pepper powder and mixed herbs
  4. Add sugar to balance the sourness
  5. In a wholewheat pizza base, spread the tomato sauce
  6. Arrange oven dried tomato slices
  7. Spread cheese evenly on top
  8. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or till the cheese melts and the pizza turns crisp
  9. Garnish with fresh / dried herbs.
