Sweet Lassi Recipe
The sultry North Indian summer calls for something that can cool us down after battling the rising mercury. Well, Punjab has something that you may be interested in. Behold, the delicious and uber refreshing lassi. A lassi is a typical Punjabi chilled yogurt-based drink, which is made by blending together ice, water, yogurt, and salt or sugar, depending on whether you want your lassi sweet or salted.
The drink is often had with meals, as a refreshment, or during celebrations like Baisakhi, Lohri, etc. While the salted lassi is a common sight with meals, the sweet lassi makes for an excellent cooler fortified with lots of crushed ice and cooling yogurt. So beat the heat with a tall glass of sweet lassi this summer. Follow the steps below to make some at home!

- 750 gram yogurt
- 50 gram ice cubes
- 200 ml Water
- sugar to taste
Ingredients

- Crush the ice cubes in a blender.
- Add the yoghurt, water, salt or sugar and blend for about 1 minute.
- Serve chilled.
