on

Well, everyone knows that it’s the 4th of July, America’s Independence Day (and also, my friend’s birthday, HBD Steph, but not everyone knows that). Although it’s of no real importance to us, what is important is not missing a chance to drink. Also, you may have some American friends who may be homesick, so here’s a chance to share some boozy, jello cheer! Firecracker jello cups are simple to make and are absolutely delicious, so we’re sure that you’ll enjoy it.

Instructions
  1. Boil 1 cup of water and add 1 tablespoon of gelatin and 2 tablespoons of sugar mix until the mixture dissolves. When it cools down slightly pour in the blue curacao and mix. Then distribute evenly in 6 glasses and put in the fridge to cool.
  2. Put another cup of water to boil and add in the gelatin and the sugar, stir until dissolved. Wait till it cools down a touch and add 3 ounces of vodka. Pour on top of the blue curacao jello mixture in all 6 glasses. Put in the fridge.
  3. Boil the last cup of water and add the strawberry jello. Mix till it dissolves. After it cools down add the remaining vodka and pour half the strawberry jelly on top of the translucent jelly. Add one cherry to each glass and refridgerate. After about 5 minutes add the remaining red jello and try to get the cherry stems upright. Refridgerate for 30 minutes.
  4. Bring it out and you're sure to have a red, white and blue party on your hands!
