on

Fans already know that the Netflix hit, Stranger Things has been renewed for a second season an you can bet that the Duffer brothers have a bounty of surprises planned. The end of season one left jus with a bunch of questions – warning: if you’re not done, there are some spoilers ahead – abort, abort. Simply head over to the recipe instead.

Still with us? Then we’re sure you have the same questions as us; has a part of Upside Down entered the sewer system thanks to Will? Is Eleven really gone? And, if she is – *sobs* – who was Hopper leaving a box of food for?

If you looked close enough, you’ll realise that the box has some Eggo waffles in it; Eleven’s favourite foods.

Is it possible she’s still alive?

Eggo Waffles

We can think of no better way to hope that she is by eating her favourite food. Eggos are a brand of frozen waffles sold in the US made by the Kellogg Company. They’re available in a variety of flavours including blueberry, strawberry, apple cinnamon and buttermilk.

Even when Mike tells Eleven that his mother can make her pretty much anything, she only seems to want a plate of waffles. Critics have decided that this just further highlights Eleven’s intelligence; Eggo waffles, apparently, are the best thing ever.

Sadly, they’re yet to be available in India. Instead, we have a copycat recipe we’re sharing with you; enjoy a plate as you re-watch Stranger Things and pray that Eleven is still alive. This recipe will yield plain waffles; top them with chocolate sauce, fruits or whipped cream if desired.
